Finally : APC sends Bello’s name to INEC as late Prince Audu’s replacement
Hours before the deadline given to the All Progressives Congress APC for the substitution of its candidate in the inconclusive Kogi Governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has confirmed receiving a communication from the party.
The APC, after hours of deliberations forwarded the name of the first runner-up of its governorship primaries in the state, Alhaji Yahay Bello to INEC as replacement for its late candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu.
Bello will now square it out with the incumbent Governor Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Saturday’s supplementary poll.
INEC’s Deputy Director, Publicity, Nick Dazang, who confirmed the development last night in Abuja yesterday however, also said the commission was fully ready for the exercise.

A teenage schoolgirl was found hanging from a tree after she began suffering from an allergic reaction to WiFi, an inquest has heard.
Tragic Jenny Fry was left with crippling headaches, tiredness and bladder problems brought on by electro-hypersensitivity (EHS).
An inquest into her death heard how the 15-year-old’s mum Debra said her symptoms were caused because she was allergic to wireless internet connections at her school.
Jenny’s body was found hanging from a tree at Brooke Woods, near her home in Chadlington, Oxon., at 4.20pm on June 11.
Earlier in the day she had texted a friend telling her she was not going to school that day.
Her mum Debra and dad Charles Newman told the inquest they believed their daughter was made ill because of WiFi.
Although they had taken the WiFi out of their own home, it was still used in Chipping Norton School, Oxon., where she was a pupil.
Mrs Fry told Oxfordshire Coroners’ Court Jenny had started showing signs of EHS in November 2012.

“Kilmer could barely speak as he was wheeled through the ICU on a gurney,” the insider said while mentioning that the star was hooked up to a tracheostomy tube and other machines.

T.B Joshua fails to honor court invite, case adjourned till Dec. 11th
The hearing on the suit against Synagogue Pastor, T.B Joshua and his engineers over the September 2014 church building collapse has been adjourned to December 11th by Justice Lawal Akapo of the Lagos State High Court. The resumed hearing of the case was meant to take place this morning but T.B. Joshua and his engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun failed to appear in court.
Counsel to the Engineers, Oluwaseun Abimbola, told the court that they were absent because they were not served with court papers. Reacting to this position, the Lagos State’s Attorney General, Adeniji Kazeem said no valid physical addresses were found for the contractors, which he said was reason that the Ministry of Justice could not locate or serve the court papers.
