Lamar Odom Can’t Recognize Loved Ones — Doctors Fear Permanent Brain Damage

Lamar Odom’s inability to recognize close friends and family have doctors worried that he may suffer permanent brain damage after his brush with death, according to a new report.

This doesn’t sound good. It’s been a month sinceLamar Odom, 36, was rushed to hospital after analleged drug overdose at a Nevada brothel, and a new report claims the former basketball star is having a tough time communicating and recognizing close friends and family. Doctors fear that this brain damage could last forever. Poor Lamar.

Lamar’s struggled with his recovery in the past two weeks and hasn’t progressed as much as doctors would have liked, sources tell TMZ. Lamar can’t recognize longtime friends and some family members when they come to visit him, which has doctors believing that he may have suffered permanent brain damage. He is only able to speak a word here and there, and at times seems “empty.”

Fashola, Amaechi, Amina Mohammed others to earn N485m yearly

The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, have approved the  remuneration packages of each of the 37 ministers sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.

According to Punch, a committee chaired by Chairman of Remuneration Committee, Mr. Abdullahi Inde, new packages prepared by the committee, had been ratified at a retreat held for commissioners of the agency, which was concluded recently in Owerri.

The recommendations of the committee concentrated on the allowances of political and judicial office holders as the salary packages will not depart significantly from the status quo.

However, after the preparation of the new packages by RMAFC, it still has to be presented to the Federal Executive Council which has the responsibility to present it to the National Assembly as a bill for enactment as an Act of Parliament.

Chairman of RMAFC, Mr. Elias Mbam, on Saturday said that the new packages would soon be made public. He said the work was “going through a process of editing.”

Presidency sources said that the new ministers would be paid in accordance with the existing statute because the reviewed package was not ready.

Swaziland vs Nigeria to be continued on Tuesday in Port-harcourt, who would win the match?

Swaziland Coach, Harries Bulunga, was all smiles after his team’s goalless draw with the Super Eagles at the Somholo National Stadium in Lobamba on Friday.

The coach, who said the result was reminiscent of the Sihlangu’s goalless draw with Cameroun in a group stage game of the 1994 World Cup qualifiers, is also hopeful that his boys will go one step better by beating Nigeria in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

An elated Bulunga told the visiting media after the game played at the 7,500 capacity stadium that his wards still had some surprises waiting for Nigeria in the second leg.

Swaziland forced the football world to stop and take note when they defeated Guinea 2-1 away from home in a 2017 Nations Cup qualifier.

“All we need is a score draw to eliminate Nigeria and if you have been following us in recent times, you will know that we play better away from home,” he said.

Bulunga acknowledges that Tuesday’s game would be more difficult than the first leg, especially with the expected absence of their inspirational veterans, Felix Badenhorst and Mxolisi Lukhele.
