Twitter Set For Layoffs Next Week: Welcome Back, Jack Dorsey?

Monday, Jack Dorsey was appointed permanent CEO of Twitter, after four months of being the social media’s interim chief executive officer.
As a co-founder of the company and one of its main leaders throughout, Dorsey was on the shortlist for the position. Now that he has it, he isn’t afraid to make necessary adjustments in the organization. Multiple sources suggest that a major series of layoffs is due to happen next week at Twitter, affecting almost all departments.
To many analysts, Twitter seems a bloated company. In Q2 2013, before its listing, the company had around 2,000 employees, a number that doubled until Q3 2015. During the same timeframe, the number of people actively using the network shrank by a worrying 50 percent.
During his months as interim CEO, Dorsey guided the company towards a more focused approach. In August, his preoccupation with “clarifying ownership” led to a reshuffling of Twitter’s product team.
Update…on Bayelsa Ex-gov, Alamieyeseigha’s death
The Former Bayelsa governor, Alamieyeseigha is dead. Former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, is dead.
He reportedly slipped into a coma two days ago and was placed on life support.
Recall that the British Government had earlier determined to resurrect an outstanding case of money laundering against the former governor and had requested for his extradition to London.
Alamieyeseigha, who was facing money laundering charges, jumped bail and returned to Nigeria and has since then refused to answer summons for trial to continue.
He was born on November 16, 1952 in Amassoma, Ogboin North Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

Carrey was bedecked in all black and appeared somber while holding the coffin with numerous other men.

Court Documents Claim Nick Gordon ‘Injected’ Bobbi Kristina With ‘Toxic Mixture’Â
Bobbi Kristina Brown died due to “injection of a toxic mixture” by Nick Gordon, according to a new legal document filed by Brown’s court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove.Â
“Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Defendant (Gordon) after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture,” reads the filing obtained by local Atlanta affiliate WSB-TV.Â
The latest documents were in response to a motion filed by Gordon asking the court to stop the lawsuit claiming he caused the “wrongful death” of the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houstonand Bobby Brown.Â
